Comments
Between 1300 and 1700, we heard two large avalanches from the Balfour Wall bench. We did not see debris anywhere in eyesight.
Snow leading up to Balfour was 10-20cm of powder, sitting on a surface-level crust.
Upon driving out of Icefields, we witnessed evidence of a slab avalanche on the west facing aspect of the prominence above Waterfowl Lake (picture provided).
