Comments
Skied the Collier N glacier on Friday May 10th. The lake O'hara road is melted out. Strong refreeze over night made travel reasonable with ski crampons. The crust was present right until the toe of the glacier where we found 10-15cm of dry snow. By 11am the corn skiing was amazing on the west aspects and the snow was isothermal BTL.
We saw old wet loose avalanches to 1.5 but did not see any on out tour. Though we did hear some that sounded big.
