Comments
Amazing powder conditions at The Farm cabin from the 24th-26th Dec.
Dug a pit at 1660m. 190cm depth - 40cm of powder before any significant crust. Took significant force to cause any breakage (hitting shovel with full force of arm roughly x5 times after wrist & elbow tests).
There was evidence of recent avalanches on open SW aspect alpine slopes. We stuck to open tree riding and enjoyed the wonderful pow we were blessed with.
