Comments
Very wet snow. Delicate top layer (30-50cm deep depending on location) of wet, warm snow that is poorly bonded with the drier snow (rounded crystals) beneath. However, this was only the case on sunny slopes as of 13:00. Sun-sheltered slopes seemed quite well-bonded albeit still very wet. 410cm of snow cover on top of Mount Strachan for those interested.
