Skied 3.14159 great laps of Mongolia. ~30cm new snow made for enjoyable skiing on low angle slopes, steeper slopes sluffed readily down to the crust below.
When initially climbing up the NW-facing trees above Mammoth Droppings, popped a few small wind pockets ~10-15cm deep, 2-3m wide. No similar activity observed when skiing down into Mongolia (S-SE slopes), or during the subsequent climb from Mongolia back to the col.
