Comments
We started the day in snow at the Longworth cabin. As we descended it quickly turned to rain. 2 runs in the heavy pinwheel zone and we called it quits. The rain level continued to rise in elevation until it was above the cabin. We were concerned of wet loose avalanches but didn't initiate any under skis. We checked on the mid December crust with no results from a deep tap test. Decided on an early exit on Wednesday before the freeze.
