Avalanche conditions

• 30cm + of new snow, or significant drifting, or rain in the last 48 hours.

Skied the NWF of Sky Pilot to avoid the crowds going to the couloirs. Saw isolated signs of 2-inch wind slabs forming off our skin track about 2/3 way up the face, so we transitioned early and skied down. No signs of propagation and the layer crumbled easily under our skis.

For our second lap we went to the top and it still skied well.

Skied the gully and trees below for our second/third laps and they skied really well, definitely more tracked out though.

Finished with Home Run which was definitely quite skied out as expected.
