Comments
We took a good tour around Doctor Creek and saw several wet loose avalanches from the last few days. They were all on steep sun-exposed slopes, and our main concern was passing under these types of terrain features in the heat of the day.
Surfaces were a mix of soft crusts and wind-affected snow, with the late January crust about 5 cm deep. We couldn't find any surface hoar around this crust.
