Comments
Rode backside of Goldie today, snow quality was pretty good. A couple inch layer of crust ontop of pretty much everything. Didn’t notice any alarming cracks or whumpfing. Dug a snow pit, better than expected results.
Did notice a layer of surface hoar pretty much everywhere. Did not effect any riding but will definitely cause an issue if new snow is present. Photo for reference.
Was a good day, good laps had. Snow was worth the hiking.
