Comments
The warm temp and clear sunny skies on Thursday, January 13th followed by below freezing temps overnight have developed a crust on solar aspects into the alpine and on all aspects below 2000m.
This crust was supportive to skis through the afternoon and only softened up enough to get an edge in. Skiing was fast and loud staying on top of the crust.
Profile dug at 2100 m had no test results of concern and we didn’t observe any new avalanches.
