Comments
A weak overnight recovery and warm weather (8° on the dashboard at the icefields) provided firm, moist snow which allowed for easy touring conditions. Ski crampons will be useful when the surface re-freezes.
Excellent views of the larger peaks from the humble mound that we climbed.
No new avalanches observed, no signs of instability.
