Comments
We went up for a lap on McBride Peak thinking we could find some soft powder hidden in the trees. Instead we found a thin breakable sun crust that made for pretty awful skiing. It's March out and even that little bit of sun yesterday was enough to cause a few roller balls on solar slopes. Perhaps the north facing trees still have some soft snow. With strong winds at all elevations and another storm on the way we did not stick around for another run.
