Comments
Improved visibility, even some sunshine, let us range further, and poke into the Alpine. While travelling we stayed mindful of overhead hazard and avoided steep northwest to east facing slopes where the moderate wind was building slabs. We saw a recent size 2 wind slab in the Alpine on a north facing slope. With 40 cm of soft snow over the recent crust in sheltered areas there where many fun riding options away from any avalanche hazards.
