Small natural avalanche on cross loaded south facing slope, skiers right of the Powder 8 bowl on South side of Apex Proper. Strong NE winds on Friday night/Saturday morning have formed wind slabs in wind exposed areas several cms thick that overlie the low density snow of the March 13 storm. Significant wind transport of the storm snow has created large drifts and wind pillows in unusual locations for this area. Significant whoomphing and cracking on south facing slopes that have been cross or lee loaded.
