Is any one else over these annoying deep persistent layers yet?!!!
The layers that were buried in late Nov and mid Dec seem to be showing up every day we go out! We saw these two size 3 avalanches today that started as storm slabs and stepped down to the deep weak layers. They were triggered by cornices that built in the recent storm. Not sure when we will feel safe riding in committing avalanche terrain again...
