Skied the steepest North facing trees we could find, between 1450m and 1000m. HS Approx 360cm (probably 380cm by the end of the day). Snowing hard (PK reported 57cms in 24hrs). Tracks were covered from the morning by the time we headed out. Little wind in the protected areas but it was howling up high and on the powerlines. Dug a pit that showed storm snow releasing easily, and another layer down about 60cms popping on CTM12 cleanly. While skiing we were setting off small slides sympathetically all around. When they depth/size got bigger as more snow fell we hit the road. Snow was almost too deep (almost). Temps around -2c all day.

Thanks for the update - just curious, where exactly were you skiing? Near Azouzetta? - Greg
