Since the incident involved an avalanche airbag that did not get deployed, it would be very interesting to be more information about this accident. In February, I will be working on a study to looks at the use of avalanche airbags in Canada in more detail.
I would therefore like to specifically encourage you to submit any information about avalanche incidents involving avalanche airbags to the CAC at http://www.avalanche.ca/cac/bulletins/incident-reports/submit.
