AVALANCHE INFORMATION
Number: 2 Size: Size class 2 Type: Slab avalanche
Trigger: Sr (approaching tree line ,snow setteled and propagated)
Dimension: 75m wide; ran for 100m; average slab depth of 35cm.
Failure Pl.: Old - SH/CR
Starting Zone: Location: Treeline at approx. 1800m.
Character: N; 35 degrees; Cross-loaded Slope; Sparse Forest.
Comment: easily failed and steeped down to hard bed surface ran on hoar to next bench
WEATHER AND SNOWPACK INFORMATION
Weather: warm day overcast
Snowpack: 1.9 m 4 layers and a deep depth hoar base witha warm stiff slab on top
